“It’s really great to know that I’m a part of the most admired Indians list this year too. I think, I have been one of the frontrunners in the Biotech sector, which is now considered to be a strong emerging sector. But if you were to ask me for my strengths as a business leader, I would say it’s really about identifying opportunities around.”

On the key business challenges in India

“It’s really competitive, as everyone has global aspirations. Everyone needs to move very fast and do not have the comfort of building strong fundamentals and that’s the challenge of young entrepreneurs today. As for older companies, I think it’s about adapting to change and learning to scale up.”

On whom she admires the most

“I admire Ratan Tata very much as he has done a phenomenal job. Out of everyone in the country, he is the true global leader that we have.”
